7.5 x 7.5 x 16" early Republic/early 20th century porcelain Chinese vase. Continuous hand-painted scene, featuring finely detailed figures and background, develops into a and a serene landscape on the back. At the opening and bordering the scene are densely patterned bands of plant motifs, hand-painted in shades of red.
Three red and gold seals on back face of the vase, and seal stamp on bottom in blue. Excellent condition; some wear to leafing on the rim of the vase. Quian Long mark |
