Circa: 1900's-31 Condition: Good+ Manufacturer: Goodell-Pratt Co. Greenfield Mass. U.S.A. This is a very nice, clean, and rare combination square protractor head and 9" rule, both marked "GOODELL-PRATT CO. GREENFIELD MASS. U.S.A.". Goodell-Pratt and Millers Falls combination squares are basically the same since the two companies often manufactured machinist tools useing the same patents and tooling, and were acquired by Millers Falls Co. in 1931. In other words this protractor and scale will look identical to one marked Miller Falls Co. during the same period. Both companies manufactured top quality precision tools in the early 1900's and this tool is a fine example of that same quality, in good+ used condition! The rule has inch graduations on both side, all can be clearly seen. There is one area of pitting on the rule between the 3-4 inch area on one side, otherwise no rust, very clean. The protractor head has about 95% original black Japanning intact, no rust, no damage, very good 1 degree graduation for angles, and a good work level.
