Circa: Mid-1900's Condition: Good+ Manufacturer: Ridgid Tool Co. & Imperial Junior This is a nice group of two vintage tubing cutters, both in good working condition, both similar in design but by different makers. One is marked "RIDGID TOOL CO. NO. 104 ELYRIA OHIO" and is in good shape with two rollers oposite the cutter wheel. It appears to be designed for tubing up to about 3/4" outside diameter. The cutter wheel is removeable, as it is on a pin with a C-clip holding the pin in place. The wheel and the rollers turn freely. Measures 3/4" wide x 2" long. The 2nd cutter is marked "IMPERIAL JUNIOR TUBE CUTTER" and has the added feature of the adjustable deburring blade, but this one has a V angle shape to guide on the pipe while cutting instead of the rollers like on the Ridgid model.

| This one has about 5/8" outside diameter capacity, measures 3" long x 3/4" wide. It also has a screw that holds the cutter wheel in place so the cutter can be replace later when worn. Both cutter models are in very good working order, both useable. Both have no rust or damage, the Imperial is chrome plated, and some chrome is missing off the knurled thumb wheel, otherwise in great shape. |
