I'm not sure what this tool is. It reminds me of a pestle. The head is wood and not rounded though. Maybe it is a meat tenderizer. Measurements are 9.5 inches long. The head is 2 inches in diameter. The head measures about 3.5 inches. There is a string on the end to hang it in your kitchen
