I like old tools as I imagine that many of you do. If it's a bit out of the ordinary, and it's in really good condition like this plane, I'm even more interested.
This is an unusual plane in what I believe is the Widow's Tooth style. I guess it was used to plane an wood where an edge would have obstructed a normal plane. Instead the wood would fit in the V-notch of the plane.
It is made from a solid block of hardwood. The blade is nice and sharp and the thingy (I'm really an expert, aren't I?) that holds the blade in is in nice shape as well.
