Here's a pin that you've probably been searching for--the 3 banana bakelite pin. The top is a solid piece of green bakelite measuring 1 1/4 inch by about 1/2 inch. The leaves are carved into the bakelite. The three dangling bananas really are very realistic. These too are bakelite in a dark yellow color with some brown banana markings painted on. The bananas are attached to the bakelite leaves and the string is embedded in the bakelite.
The pinback is a simple c clasp and does show wear. The pin itself is discolored but is in working condition. The pin is not riveted and may be glued but it is very sturdy.
