| Since the fine antique bits and spurs of a century ago are scarce and difficult to find as well as very expensive, there is a growing interest in pieces made by modern makers. 123 contemporary makers are featured in this book, with over 900 stunning color photographs of their work. Modern makers have made many innovations in both techniques and motifs in their craft. They are not simply copying the old styles. They are also creating new designs appropriate for the 21st century.
