This is a very nice, clean, brass body padlock with a steel shackle, and working key. The outside of the lock reads "ROYAL". The key is marked "THE YALE & TOWNE MFG. CO.." on it. There is very little wear on the lock, some minor pitting on the steel shackle, very clean brass body. We don't know if the key is original, but it works. The shackle is the spring open type, so it springs open once you turn the key to open it, good strong spring too. The body is 2" diameter, the shackle material is 1/4" thick diameter. A good used antique brass lock overall!
