Art nouveau silver brooch hallmarked Birminham 1888/9 showing lion, anchor and the letter O. The maker was ER. The design shows leaves that look like water lillies and with one flower and a couple of other leaves. Rarely found. Much of the British silver is currently being scrapped so items like this will become even more scarce. Buy it now before it goes. These were often thought of as sweetheart brooches. |
