| This is a very appealing antique print of "The Last Supper" by the famous artist, Leonardo Da Vinci. The print is bright with vivid colors and details. It was printed in Switzerland. The print is in excellent original condition. The original matting has writing in all four corners. The top left corner of the matting reads, "Stehli Freres, Editeurs, Zurich". The top right corner reads, "Imprime en Suisse". The bottom left corner has the artist’s signature, "Leonardo Da Vinci, pinx". And the bottom right corner reads, "Printed in Switzerland". Also, the bottom center is stamped, "No. 386". The fancy molded wood frame retains the original gold finish and is also in excellent original condition. Old original glass, original paper backing, and old metal hanger. Circa 1920’s. |
