Made in the 1940s and designed by Kenneth Haley . There was probably another identical horse to this making them originally a pair of bookends, but this spectacular glass is impressive enough to stand alone as a table centerpiece or figurine. Stands a huge 9 " long x 7 " high x 3 1/4 " wide approx and weighs a substantial 4 1/2 pounds without packing material . Hollow bottom , unmarked clear glass . Excellent overall used condition , has bubbles in glass ( shown in photo at base ) and straw marks from manufacturing process, underside base has few small roughage flakes and small chips along base, light surface scratch marks at base - all no harm and mentioned for accuracy. We have used photography lighting to show the detail of this magnificent piece of Art Deco glass . Great addition to your collection or gift for a horse lover .
