For sale is an antique wood box with shoeshine accessories. The box is said to be a German shoeshine box, (purchased from the daughter of an antique dealer's estate). It has dovetailed edges and is in vintage condition. The name on front of box is chipped off; you can paint that or stencil something on it. Inside are 4 cool brushes and wood shoe mold. 2 brushes are Made in Germany; another has hand painted samurai Made in Japan, one is not marked, and shoe mold is 5 1/2 L. Cool primitive display items. Hinge on box is a bit loose and there is a long split on back of box which doesn't show. Box is 6 tall x 12.5 wide x 7.5 deep. 10/09brnestscs |
