Contemporary art glass and brass jewelry box designed with a foiled illustration of a Victorian Christmas Angel and tree scene under the glass lid. Rich burnished brass tube framing the sides of rosy gold ripple glass, ornate shaped box clasp and link chain that secures the lid to the box when opened. Interior bottom is mirrored. Sits on four ball feet.
Box is in exceptional and what, appears to be, unused condition.

The illustration is lustrous, rich in color with subtle iridescent shimmer with light change. Measures 5.5 inches north to south by 4 inches wide. Height is 2.5 inches. Guaranteed to be in gift-giving condition and would make a beautiful holiday table accent piece. Brass under-base with oval gold foil label, Handcrafted - Via Vermont - Made in Mexico. Circa 1980 - 1990.
