Circa: early 20 th Century
Manufacturer: Chinese

This wood carving is truly an exceptionally skillfully carved wood grouping.I believe it is an emperor, that is so detailed that it looks real. There are 2 children with detailed hair, fingers, and attire. The emperor has glass eyes and teeth, the 2 children have glass eyes. The boy has one eye missing. The emperor is holding a detailed twig tree and some kind of chinese fruit, that leads to his left ear,the girl is kneeling holding some kind of fruit? the boy is holding an animal with glass eyes,
It is hand carved of solid cherry and weighs 10 lbs. , there is an age crack that runs 6 inches down the side, and some chips to the bottom, but still does not even distract from this exceptional piece, original platina, and measures 22 inches high and 7 inches wide minor chips along bottom and one on the tree branch
The pictures dont even do this piece justice and more pictures will be available upon request
