This is an an excellent old barn find. A beautiful white milk glass moon and stars lightning rod ball
in very good condition. It is hard to see in the photos, but the sun has actually caused some shading to this ball that gives it an amethyst tint. There is some wear around the collars, but the copper caps are more than enough to keep that problem covered and safe. Measurement on this ball 4 1/2" round x 5 1/2 " end to end. Once you've decided on where to display this classic old piece of Americana, think about putting a tiny light up inside of it. I think you'll love how they glow. |
