Goldenstone - Kanab, Utah
This rock is a real work of nature, The color in the beautiful stone is made from a number of minerals. Iron in the rock makes the dark bands that set apart the other shades. It is believed that a mineral spring once flowed slowly through the quarry area and years of settling created the different bands.
Size: approx. 4 x 4½
Condition: very good - several very small nicks on back upper edge from when it was sawed into shape
Weight: 7 Oz's.
