Early french veast match safe with 2 insect touch marks indicating 18k and 1840-1860 date, covered in worn brown leather and decorated with flower comprised of turquoise cabachons with rose cut diamonds set in the leaves, center stone in flower of unknown type missing. steel strike on base. This was either a ladies or a n elegantly appointed man's vesta.
