Lowell Davis Figurine call the Critics is a special edition of 1200 (this one is #204)that were released in 1983. This wonderful figurine is of the artist himself Lowell Davis Painting his farm with a lot of his farm animals looking on including his faithful dog Hooker sitting by the box of paints. This figurine was released with a wooden base that is shown in the pictures. With the base this figurine is approximately 6.25 inches tall, 10.25 inches at the longest point and 6.62 inches at the widest point. The corners of the painting have some boxing (rounded), and coming unglued a tiny bit from the easel as the picture shows, and on the backside of the figurine, the easel is damaged, it looks like a sliver is missing and it does have a hairline on the back easel leg and the easel will wiggle if you touch top of the easel. Other then mentioned there are no other defects to the figurine and the bottom has the red and gold Schmid Border Fine Arts Sticker. The wood base has a very light scratch by Hookers tail that is to light to photograph. The back of the figurine reads Lowell Davis C.Y.C BFA Scotland Schmid © 82 204/1200. The detail of this figurine are incredible, the goat, sheep, and pigs eyes are very realistic, the turtle looks so cute sitting among the ducklings and chicks play while the mother duck and hen are looking at Lowell Davis. |
