This vintage porcelain hinged trinket box was made in Japan by Lefton. It's in the shape of a piano with a Fragonard style courting couple scene on the pale green lid. The piano is liberally decorated in gold gilt. It's a little over 3 inches high when closed, about 6-1/2" long by 4" wide.
The trinket box is in very good condition with no damage, just a little wear to the gold bordering the lid scene and the outline around the edge of the lid. The underside has a red and gold foil Lefton Exclusives Japan label and is numbered XA6954.
