This Marvella fantasy fruit brooch features juicy fruits of swirled orange Bakelite among golden leaves. The brooch is 3 1/8" long and about 2 ¼" wide. Each orange is 5/8" or ¾" in diameter. The orange is intense and lightly swirled with bright yellow--Valencia oranges, maybe?
The leaves and stems are textured and have an even gold-plated finish. The back of the brooch has a safety clasp and is cast with the Marvella signature on the bottom leaf. This mixed-materials brooch is in excellent condition and is as elegant and fanciful as Bakelite can be.
