This is a hardcover cookbook called the Season to Taste cookbook. It was written by Peggy Harvey in 1960 and has 267 pages including the index. The introduction was written by Ilka Chase. This cookbook combines imagination, good taste, good writing, and good sense. Examples of some of the recipes are Grenadins of Beef, Tipsy Duck, Pheasant Supreme, Shad Roe in Cream, Crab Fingers, Clam Hash, Chicken Suzanne, Bourban Balls, Spinach Italienne, Pineapple Imperial, & Cantaloupe Pie. It's in good condition considering it's age. I've thumbed through it and don't see any major flaws such as torn pages, serious stains or scribbles. You might find a spot or two or a note in the margin. The dust jacket has wear as seen in the pictures. This Season to Taste cookbook will provide great family meals for years to come.
