This is a Franciscan sugar bowl with lid in DESERT ROSE pattern. Produced by the Gladding-McBean Co., which was in business from 1875-1984. This sugar bowl has the backstamp that dates them to 1953-1958. Marked on bottom: FRANCISCAN MADE IN CALIFORNIA U.S.A. HAND DECORATED GLADDING McBEAN & CO. OVEN SAFE. This sugar bowl is in very good condition and SHINY IN AND OUT.
