My mother had a copy of this General Foods Kitchens cook book when I was growing up and she used it as much if not more than any other she had. The original owner of this copy obviously used and loved it too, it has some wear but there are no serious problems or issues.
The hardcover, indexed book has 436 pages of recipes. There are lots of illustrations and full color photographs. Published by Random House in 1959, this is a first edition, first printing without dust jacket.
I found no writing, tears, or stains to the pages of the book.

The end papers are cracked at the center spine seam which is starting to separate a bit from the binding but is still intact (see second photo). The first page has the original owner's name written in ink plus a penciled price in the upper page corner. There are slight corner bumps and mild cover wear as shown. The pages are bound tightly with nothing loose. Will ship media mail for $5.75 insured upon request. If paid by Paypal and media mail is specified, I will refund shipping overpayment.
