Manufacturer: Moravian Pottery & Tile Works
This hand made tile was made by the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, of Doylestown, PA, circa 1920 - one of the nicer, earlier tiles they made.. The name of the tile is "Griffin of Nuremberg". Measures approximately 4 1/2" square - and is done in greenish blue and cream with red flush. Top left corner chip and minor edge nicks all around. Generally in good condition. This is one of three in stock (see additional photo for a shot of all 3). (#2013)
