This is a leather sheath for some type of knife made in the 1930s or possibly earlier as a souvenir of Yellowstone National Park. The tip cover is soft buckskin with a beaded Indian style design and the stenciled words Yellowstone park. There's a working snap closure near the top, overall length is just over 7 inches. The sheath is in very good vintage condition with bead work intact and no loose stitches or tears. My antique letter opener fits inside it just fine, it may in fact have been sold with one inside.
