This antique stoneware crock or pot has a bail wire handle with a wood grip. Inside reads Delta Mfg. Co. Patented Sept. 28, '35. Minneapolis Minn. I believe this would have been produced by the Red Wing Pottery Co. Whoops!! This was produced by the Nelson McCoy Pottry Co. This information was just received, It is illustrated in a 1935 Nelson McCoy Pottery Co., product catalog. Thanks Steve for the info. It does have a chip near the hole for the bail wire handle and a couple rim chips. Please view images carefully. Stands 3.5 in. tall and is 5.5 in. diameter at the top. Even the wood handle is in good condition. |
