Vintage - Sky BLUE GLASS LIGHTNING ROD BALL
4 inches by 4 inches in diameter, this vintage lightning rod ball is made of heavy sky glass colored milk glass. The body is excellent, with no visible damage, but as is so common on these old lightning balls, both ends have some chips and rough edges. The copper end caps cover this damage completely and at the same time keep fingers safe while handling. A nice vintage ball, ready to be used again as intended, or shown off in your collection!
Note: I like to place a small light bulb inside these glass balls. They give off a lovely glow and make the perfect night light |
