This 16 Fl. ounces 7up soda bottle with green with red, blue and gold lettering commemorating Notre Dame, The Fighting Irish, as the national Football champs is from 1973.
Marked on the front with the Notre Dame logo it has their opponents with their scores on the other side and the bottom has the number 40 / 74 / AHK / D.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team is the football team of the University of Notre Dame, located in Notre Dame, Indiana, USA (just north of South Bend, IN). The team is currently coached by Brian Kelly.
They claimed 11 national titles, 1924, 1929, 1930, 1943, 1946, 1947, 1949, 1966, 1973, 1977, & 1988.
The Fighting Irish have been awarded the most consensus national championships and produced more All-Americans than any other Football Bowl Subdivision school. In addition, seven Fighting Irish football players have won the Heisman Trophy.
