Vintage Ruby Red Flash Glass Miniature Oil Lamp, Kerosene Lamp or Hurricane Lamp. This is a dandy with embossed lettering- Made in Hong Kong- on the bottom. The base is a two-part pressed glass with ribbed indention around the middle of the base. The glass globe or chimney has the usual flea bites from when they broke the glass when it was blown. The cranberry, red flash paint is in very nice condition for the age of the piece. There are two round wicks in the bottom of the lamp. This may have been a carnival prize back inj the day. Add this beauty to your vintage hurricane lamp collection. |
