Circa: 1937 Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: Revere Copper & Brass
This lightly hammered polished chromium centerpiece bowl was featured in the 1937 Revere Copper & Brass Company giftwares catalog. The design was named simply "Revere" and the line including matching candlesticks, available separately.
The bowl has a twisted vine pattern metal basket style handle across the center, secured to the rim with flattened leaf decoration. It measures 8-3/4 inches diameter by 1-1/2 inches deep. Still shiny and in good condition with some very light finish wear around the outer rim edge, mostly near the leaf handle bases. Marked Revere Rome N.Y. on the underside. Due to poor lighting conditions, the bowl actually looks nicer in person than in the photos.
