Vintage Dorchester Pottery Stoneware fruit dessert plates featuring a hand decorated APPLE design with a two tone blue border around edge. The plate measures 7-1/2" diameter. The base is marked with DORCHESTER STONEWARE POTTERY, C.A.H. (Charles A. Hill, decorator), the DORCHESTER POTTERY circular stamp and N. Ricci, faci in a dark blue background (master potter). The glaze is a smooth, even matte finish, there are no cracks or repairs - normal Dorchester glaze drip imperfections on the backside of plate.
This is a wonderful piece to add to any Dorchester and/or pottery collection
