A Large Jug/pitcher, designed by Charlotte Rhead and produced during her time at H.J Wood, around 1940, under the label of Bursley Ware.
The pattern is TL43, the lovely Wind Tossed Peonies, painted in Blues and Blacks against a pale ground.
Standing a good 7 inches tall, the item is offered in Good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. There are a few signs of age, but nothing at all detrimental to report.
