Plastic Three Bears Family Bank in the original box has the stock No. 5000. Holds all coins: half dolls, quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. Molded plastic forms of Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear in red plastic, on a yellow base, which has a removable plug to retrieve the coins.
Bottom is signed: Made In U.S.A. – Pat. Pend. L.P.
Size: 4-1/4 inches height, 4-3/4 inches length, and 2-1/2 inches width.
Condition: very nice; each bear has a separate coin slot, Mama Bear is wearing an apron, Baby Bear has his tongue sticking out – is very detailed and cute! Back and bottom of the carton has the whole Three Bears & Goldilocks story. This would have made a darling baby gift circa 1950’s; a bank plus a bedtime story to read to the child. Box is in nice condition with very little shelf wear and only a tear on the top inner flap.
