This item is a set of six (6) Antique Russian Sterling Silver Spoons. Each Spoon is about 6 and 1/2 inches long and have an overall gold wash. Each has an intricate engraved decoration on both sides of the handle and on the back of the ladle. The manufacturer's marks on the back of each Spoon indicates that they are made of 84 Russian Sterling in 1851. The marks indicate an unknown silversmith from Moscow and that the Assayer was Andrey Kovalskiy who was an active assayer in Moscow, Russia between 1827 and 1856. Each Spoon is in excellent condition. |
