This 1930s thin glass Santa holding a tree Christmas ornament was made in Germany. The molding is very well defined, clearly showing the facial features, the boughs on the tree, Santa's mittened hands, even the folds of his red coat. The coat, hat, and lips are red, the fur trim, mustache, and little pine tree are coated in white mica glitter. The ornament has lost its inner mercury silvering, a fairly common occurrence to antique ornaments. Otherwise it's in very good vintage condition with no chips or breaks. My pictures have a yellowish tinge due to poor lighting.
