This is a tree shaped dish, Made in England by Johnson Brothers. The pattern is beautiful and has Old World charm. The middle design is of a Christmas tree with gifts beneath it. Around the rim, there is a ring of holly and berries. The colors are muted shades of green, red, yellow, and blue on an ivory background. The motif was hand engraved and the decoration is done under the glaze. The dish measures 8.25" long by 7.5" wide and is 1.25" deep. The Merry Christmas pattern is discontinued and was made from 1958 to 1995. In excellent condition. |
