Enjoy scrolling through EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass), along with other vintage glass, pottery, silver, pewter, old coins, collector books, cylinder records, etc. New unused, precious and semi-precious gem jewelry, STERLING, gold-filled or plate, and older costume jewelry will be added as it is sorted.
See below (About us) for the big picture! I am strictly a collector, not an expert, and I don't buy large lots of material.
Glass (EAPG) is my focus, but I also inherited a lot of "stuff" from my parents, much of it collected in the 1950's-1960's (semi-antique), and much of their material dating back to the Victorian era. My father loved lots of "old" things, often recounting fond memories associated with them. It's taking a long time, but I will slowly add interesting items, along with photos and as much history as I know about them.
Only large items such as furniture, rugs, phonographs, etc., are not practical for this venue. However, if you are local to northwest CT, and can pick-up an item, feel free to email and inquire.
Thanks,

Circa: unknown Manufacturer: Cambridge-Silver City?
This intriguing pair of individual open sugar and creamer, both have a THICK silver overlay in a pattern of leaf and thistle. The lower part of both pieces looks like Cambridge Caprice with half-circles, fans, and 4 squarish feet. But the upper section is different: plain top edges with silver (or platinum?) overlay, and rounded handles, more suggestive of Silver City Glass. These seem to be a combo Cambridge Caprice- Silver City product, but I could not find this specific set anywhere and the date is uncertain; apparently silver overlay was popular until the 1930’s or 1940’s. There is a hint of wear under the feet, suggesting age, i.e., not new. These are in pristine condition except for one small shallow flake off the design of the sugar near one of the fans. I mention platinum because there is no evidence of tarnish as one might expect for silver; overlay is bright, shiny, with no evidence of wear. Measure: creamer is 4 ¼ inches tall; sugar is 3 ¾ inches tall. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 2 1/2 lbs. from 06068. #590
