Description: Sandwiches, steaks, seafoods, cocktails, salads, meat and eggs, waffles and hot cakes, fruits and juices, cereals and breakfast rolls, beverages, desserts and fountain items. Owners: M. M. Francis and W. E. Lindsay.
Features and Specials: Fresh rainbow trout 2 for $1.80; Hot sandwiches 60 cents; Fish and chips 75 cents; Fried half spring chicken $1.65; Famous ‘Shack’ Hamburgers 30cents; 3 Decker Sandwiches 90 cents; Grilled T-Bone steak $2.15; Grilled Alaska salmon 85 cents. Most were served with fries and salad. ‘No Service Less than 10 cents.’ ‘The Shanty’ wine list and cocktail specials noted on folded flap. Glass of burgundy or sauterne was 24 cents a glass, 98 cents a half-bottle.
Condition: The menu is near mint condition with few signs of use and no abuse. There are no tears or stains.
