This US marked keg spigot is of turned maple with a natural cork insert to insure a leak proof fit. The spigot measures approximately 11 1/8 inches in length and though it offers good evidence of age and period originality appears never to have been used. Appropriate for use or display with any number of period barrel, hogshead, or keg applications, the cork insert is generally considered most appropriate to use with beer, wine and spirits barrels and kegs. A neat display item to lay in with Civil War vintage sutler, country store or military quartermaster items. Don't forget to give our search feature a try for special wants.
