This is a bulk glass bottle of gum-free clock oil that can be used for bearings, bushings of clocks, model trains, small appliances, etc.
Clocks with mechanical gears and bushings need oiling every 5 to 8 years or they begin to wear very fast. If you have a keepsake clock you want to keep, try this oil for lasting protection.
Always apply oil very sparingly on clock parts and only oil the bushings where the gear spindle goes through the frame. Don't over oil and saturate the clock parts or they will collect dust which is the opposite of what you want to achieve. This bottle contains 2 ounces.
This bottle is light enough in weight to be mailed First Class Mail.

These new film splices are for repairing the older 16mm movie film when you have a break in the film or want to splice two or more films together. There are 5 envelopes per package and each envelope contains two clear plastic pre-glued and slotted splices--one for each side of the film. The splices are slotted on both sides of splice which will work on either silent or sound film. Splicing film works better and easier with a film splicing machine or jig, but it can be done by hand if you take your time and be careful lining up the holes/slots in the splices and film. |

How to Transfer Old Home Movies to DVD

THINGS YOU'LL NEED-

- MODERN VIDEO CAMERA
- COMPUTER THAT CAN BURN A DVD
- COMPUTER SOFTWARE THAT CAN EDIT DIGITAL VIDEO
Step 1: There are conversion services available to convert your 8mm films to DVD, but for the most part, they charge $3 to $5 per minute or 15 to 25 cents per foot, with a minimum charge as well. If money is no object, that's the way to go. However, if you want to do it inexpensively, then continue reading.
Step 2: If you have 8mm films, chances are that you also have an 8mm projector. If you have Super 8 film, chances are you already have a Super 8 projector. If you don't know what type of film you have and you don't have a projector, take a look at my store index and you will see a category on how to identify the difference between Regular 8mm film and Super 8 film. A Dual 8 projector will show both sizes of film. You can select any of these types of old vintage projectors from my store by choosing the Film & Slide Projectors category from that same index. Then, look under the sub-categories listed to find which used projectors are presently available for purchase.
Once you have your projector set up and operating, you can begin by projecting the images on a flat, white, smooth surface. A wall isn't generally good because the textured surface blurs the image. Use a white art board and project the image to a width of about two feet. Much larger and you'll reduce the quality.
Sometimes it is very good to buy a vintage projector that has a variable motor speed feature. This will help eliminate the 'bar syndrome' on some video cameras as you can sync the speed of the projector with that of the video camera.
Step 3: Now set your video camera on a tripod on a level with the projector's lens, and as close to the projector as possible. Then simply video tape the entire 8mm film, Super 8 or 16mm films that you want to convert by capturing the screen image (projected image) with your video camera. Don't worry about bad portions of the film - you'll be able to edit those out later in your computer.
Quality in resolution can be improved by purchasing a video transfer box. These black boxes have a mirror inside set at an angle so one can point your video cam direct at the screen. I sometimes have these boxes for sale used in my store. Check under the projector accessory category on the main index.
Step 4: Now transfer the video tapes from your camera to your computer's movie maker program. For example, Apple Computers come with an iMovie program. Microsoft has a program available at no charge also called Movie Maker. Using your movie maker software, you can now edit your video, add titles, credits, and sound. Then as a last step, burn a DVD from your edited video.

High Quality Clock Oil In Refillable Pocket Oiler

This is a squeezable plastic pocket oiler with a 3.5 inch metal feeding tube screwed onto a 3 inch barrel that will reach inside those hard-to-reach places in Grandfather clocks, Anniversary clocks, Mantle clocks, Small and Large Wall clocks, Shelf clocks or any other mechanical or electrical clock you may have.
This pocket oiler is a handy tool with a pocket clip that allows it to be carried in your shirt pocket.

If you have a keepsake clock you want to keep, try this oiler with its controlled drip when applying very slight pressure on the bottle of the oiler. You can even oil in an upward direction briefly if you get the metal tube full of oil and they rotate the tube upward while keeping slight pressure on the tube.
This oiler works wonderful and will do a very nice job for you. Always apply oil very sparingly on clock parts and only oil the bushings where the gear spindle goes through the frame. Don't over oil and saturate the clock parts or they will collect dust which is the opposite of what you want to achieve.
The bottle itself measures approximately 3 inches long by 1/2 inches across. The cap or tip of the oil tube is a friction fit cap that fits down tight on the oil tube so there are no leaks. You can even lay it down for storage without any leak exposure if you press the cap on tight. |

1920's Celluloid Two-Tone 30-hour Clock 2381
Size: 4.5 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep
This beautiful clock is in clean original condition. The dial has some staining on it but is still readable while adding to its antique appearance. There is some cracking of the celluloid on the four corners of the clock, but looks as if those cracks have now stopped and probably won't get any worse. The clock case is moulded and still strong. The case is a mixture of wonderful colors and the pink highlight around the dial reeks for a place to set on your antique vanity. The minute and hour hand appear to be original as well as the dial and the bevel glass bezel.
This clock is a windup clock that lasts for approximately 30 hours and is unusual in that it has a second hand dial at the 6 o'clock position. The clock movement is working and keeping good time and was serviced recently.

The clock case is moulded and still strong. The case is a mixture of wonderful ribbon-like grain of celluloid and the four legs are even celluloid. The clock just begs for a place to set on your antique vanity.
The minute and hour hand appear to be original as well as the dial and the bevel glass bezel. The clock movement is working and keeping good time and was serviced recently.

Kodak Ektagraphic III AM Carousel Slide Projector
Size: 13 inches square by 4 inches tall
This is the Kodak Ektagraphic III AM carousel slide projector.
Here is a reliable projector that will show your Father's old 35mm slide photos in style. It is a high-quality vintage Kodak machine that is in great condition. It comes with its own 80 slide self feeding gravity drop circular slide tray shown in the photo.
The front center foot is screw adjustable to aim the photo light beam at the desired screen whether it be on a light wall or bed sheet hung on the wall.
The electrical plug-in cord stores neatly under the machine, and the light bulb is easily changed by opening its access door on the side of the machine. Bulbs are still available in this store or you can contact me by clicking the CONTACT US button on any item page and I and I will find one for you.
There is also a SELECT button on the unit which will allow you to spin the tray around to a certain slide position if desired. The manual focus knob is also located on the main console which moves the lens in and out for best focused picture.
This machine has the auto-focus function which operates once you get the first slide in focus manually. You can switch off the auto-focus if you care not to use it for any reason.
There is also a reading light on the side of the projector that lights up when the main projector lamp is showing slides. This allows you to read from a script to your guests if that is helpful for you.
This machine is all you could ever want in a fine slide projector. You can also purchase extra slide trays separately in my store by looking under the Photo & Movie Equipment category.

Heavy Duty Brumberger 16mm Film Cannister Storage Box
Size: 8 inches tall by 10 inches wide and 8 inches deep
These Brumberger boxes are extremely heavy duty storage boxes for storing 16mm films & cans. There are 9 compartments with pivoting base levers that allow the heavy film cans to roll in and out of the compartments with ease.
These boxes were made by Brumberger Co, Inc. of Brooklyn, New York in the 1930's or earlier. They were made to last a lifetime with a study push button metal latch and metal piano hinge.
The two film cans shown in the photos are not included.

Vintage Robertshaw/ Lux Minute Minder Kitchen Timer
Size: 3 inches tall by 3 inches wide and 4 inches deep.
MADE IN THE USA: This wonderful and recognizable kitchen timer is made by the famous Robertshaw Control Co, LUX Clock Division, USA. This timer movement has been cleaned and serviced inside and is ready for some dependable duty. It has a loud bell that DINGS when the countdown timer reaches zero.
To use the unit, you must turn the dial past the 15 minute mark and then come back to a lower number if the number you want is below 15 minutes. However, you can set the timer for any amount up to 60 minutes. These good ol' timers are hard to come by in good condition but they have been proven to be the preferred stove timer compared to the imported quality timers made today.
The white paint on the dial point is worn off and there is a repaired crack on the dial itself but it is holding solid. I have discounted this timer for those flaws.
This timer is in good working condition.
