A 9 1/4" King Edward VIII plate for the proposed 1937 Coronation. A nice design with raised scalloped edge and produced by Windsor China for The Co-Operative Wholesale Society in good condition with a couple of really tiny scratches and 2 small indentations on the rear outer rim which are under the glaze and occurred during manufacture.

An unusual 9 1/4" royal commemorative plate made in Belgium for the Accession of King Edward VIII in 1936 (He abdicated in the same year). Nice portrait in naval uniform - in very good condition.

A hard to find mug for the visit of the Prince of Wales (Later King Edward VIII) to Cleator Moor dated 1927. The mug is in very good condition but evenly faded. There are traces of the original gilding to the rim.

A good relief molded brass casting of Sir Douglas Haig. Rear stamped T Smith and the letter 'S'. Very good condition. The Right Honorable Field Marshal Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig, 1861 - 1928 a British soldier and senior commander during World War I. He was commander of the British Expeditionary Force during the Battle of the Somme and the 3rd Battle of Ypres.

JOSEPH CHAMBERLAIN WITH SONS AUSTIN CHAMBERLAIN AND NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN. An unusual c.1932 plate BY Spode depicting the the Chamberlain family (Information on the back). All 3 were members of Parliament and Neville became Prime Minister. 10 1/2" In very good condition with light age crazing.

A nice octagonal plate produced for the golden jubilee of the accession of Queen Victoria in 1886. Made by Wallace Gimson & Co. In very good condition - no cracks or crazing - a very small professional restoration on one rear corner - no way affects the look of the plate. See all photographs.

A great 8" royal commemorative Doulton Lambeth 1887 Golden Jubilee Stoneware jug with brown and dark brown glazed body encircled by flower of the realm and applied with a scene of Queen Victoria on her throne attended by four groups of figures from the empire with putti below trumpeting her fame. Displays well but has a hairline crack in the lip also some shrinkage under the base the base. Probably during manufacture. Please see all pictures.

A very rare and unusual misnamed royal commemorative treacle glaze stoneware spirit flask produced about the time of the Accession to the throne in 1837. One side has a profile of Queen Victoria misnamed The Duchess of Kent (her mother) and the other a hatted portrait of The Duchess of Kent entitled Victoria. The mouth of the flask shows a bewigged gentleman (Possibly Lord Melbourne, the Prime Minister at the time). 7 1/2" high in very good condition with a tiny loss of glaze on the base edge. An interesting brass ashtray with raised portrait of Austin Chamberlain 1863-1937 and a border of flowers of the realm. British statesman and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. He was a member of the most famous political family of their day. His father was Joseph Chamberlain MP and his half brother was Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain.

A RARE 1821 SAUCE BOAT SUPPORTING QUEEN CAROLINE WITH THE INSCRIPTION ‘HER MOST GRACIOUS MAJESTY CAROLINE QUEEN OF ENGLAND’. THE DISGRACED QUEEN WAS LOCKED OUT OF WESTMINSTER ABBEY WHEN SHE ARRIVED FOR THE CORONATION OF HER HUSBAND KING GEORGE IV IN 1821. SHE HAD CONSIDERABLE SUPPORT FROM THE POPULATION AS SEEN IN THIS UNUSUAL ROYAL COMMEMORATIVE PIECE. Small well restored rim chip and minor wear on the handle otherwise in very good condition.
