Paneled Fruit Jar Vintage 1940s Clear Glass
Size: Quart
This Paneled jar is Similar to the PATENT # 18767 which BALL bought from ( ? )I dug it up in the basement of a beautiful circa 1850-1860
Farmhouse (no indoor Plumbing) where I found 90% of my bottles and Jars. It was in better shape than most of them,as the mineral residue and rust came off easier. Anyway it is Beautiful and try as I might I can't find enough on these Paneled types of jars.There is a Base depression and as for the cap
I slapped a Zinc lid on simply because it fit,(it had none on when I dug it up)On the base the only marking is the #5 in the middle of the Depression. There are 8 panels around the jar. Creamer Bottle Antique Dairy

Vintage Dairy Cream Bottle, dug up from 150 year old Farmhouse. In good Shape, a little Rust inside as it has not been Professionally Cleaned. Thick glass,nice for a Collection. No Flat Paper Grip Top, but it probably had one by the way the glass is molded at the top. A few nicks around the rim,(see pictures) but not bad.Measures: height:7 inches, circumference: 5 1/2 inches. There is a molded #7 on the bottom.

The cuffs have the slight damage where there was a one inch lace trim. Since the lace appears to be high quality and very delicate, I can see how the cuffs wouldn't have fared so well over the century! when they were dug the rusted zinc tops fell
apart they were so damaged! So at least we know they belong. There is a slight Rust haze as they were not Professionally cleaned but still look Great.There is a pontil on the bottom of the big one and the numbers 660 and opposite that is a big #1. The small barrel bottom also has a penny sized pontil and the numbers 598-9. Sorry I don't have more info about the exact Co. Eagle Oil Lamp and Chimney 1920 Antique
Size: Base-7 inches tall, Chimney-9 inches tall
This beautiful Eagle (#J2030) Clear Glass Oil Lamp features hobnail detailing.I suspect that the glass chimney is a replacement. I don't know that for a fact,as it fits perfectly and I have had it like that for over 25 years so perhaps I am wrong. At any rate the base measures 7 inches high with 3 1/4 inch high "feet" on the bottom. There are some small rust spots on the burner edge which can be noted in the photo.The screw cap burner measures 3 1/4 inches across, the circumferance of the base measures 14 1/2 inches and the bottom of the footed base is 15 inches in diameter. The Chimney measures 9 inches high,and is 14 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest with the flare at the top being 3 1/4 inches across.
This lamp is a very heavy 2 1/2 pounds, and must be Double Boxed to reduce the possibility of damage in transit! The extra photo I took is from a 1951 magazine which gives an idea about displaying your collection of Oil lamps using a Room Divider
with Shelves put in. It looks great! Free
