VICTORIAN GERMAN GLASS SOUVENIR BEER TUMBLER This old beer glass was a souvenir of LEHE, GERMANY. It features Victorian heavy enamel painted flowers and a ribbon banner on the front. It reads GRUSS AUS LEHE (Greetings from Lehe). The gold gilding around the rim has mostly worn off. It is about 5 ½ inches tall with no chips. It looks like this was spun glass because of the concentric wavy lines running horizontally around the tumbler. This then was draped over a wood mold that scratched the inside in places as it was turned to work it into shape. You can see a scratch line to the left of the flower in the second photo (you can feel it with your fingernail on the inside but not the outside).
