Dramatic Pink Orchid on Black Vintage Candy or Cookie Tin This dramatic 1940s cake, candy, or cookie tin has a striking pink orchid with red ribbons on the lid over a solid black background. It's a nice roomy size, 8-1/2" diameter by 4" deep. There are no dents or dings and the graphics are still bright and unfaded with only a few tiny, minor nicks to the black litho near the edges of the lid. There's a small rust mark on the underside which does not go through and a bit of oxidation inside, not bad at all. There are no product or maker's marks.

1930s Beau Geste Produce Crate Label Colorful and striking, this authentic produce label seems to capitalize on the 1939 movie, Beau Geste, though the book came out in 1924 so it could be a decade or so earlier. The label is 6-1/4" by 9-1/8" and depicts a French Foreign Legion soldier blowing a bugle. The label says: "Distributed by Silberman & Gerst, Inc., Main Office Los Angeles California, Produce of U.S.A.". The label is in excellent, unused condition.

Pair 1930s Indian Chewing Gum Trading Cards American West A pair of early 1930s color litho print trading cards from Indian Gum by Goudey Gum Co. of Boston. The cards are both part of a series on "Romantic America". One is on Ezra Meeker, the other Peter Minuit. These old cards can be amusing in their political incorrectness, such as in this case where reference is made to "blood-thirsty redskins". One card is dated 1933, the other isn't dated but is obviously from the same time frame. In good vintage condition, the cards come with hard plastic sleeves.

Vintage Advertising Shoe Button Hook with Bonus Hook This old shoe store advertising metal button hook is marked on the handle Kieley & Bannister, 5137 Butler St. The only 5137 Butler Street still in existence in this country today is in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, so perhaps the shoe store was located there. It's a typical early 1900s steel advertising hook, 5-1/8" long and in excellent condition for its age with no rust or pitting.
Another button hook was found with the advertising shoe hook and will be included with shipment. It's a little smaller, probably meant for clothing buttons, and is missing its handle. There's some light rust on the bottom point.

Coors Pottery Rose Pink Rosebud Cake Plate This 11" diameter cake plate is a scarce piece in the 1930s Rosebud dinnerware line by Coors pottery. The dark pink color, which I believe is called Rose, is also not very common. The plate is decorated with three signature rose buds in yellow with green leaves. There are a few light knife marks and some stacking wear to the glaze, otherwise it's in excellent condition with no chips or flakes.
