PINK BABY SHOE-USA...1930ish...DELIGHTFUL!!! TOOOOOO CUTE! All over in mold design with details in the style of a child's shoe from the early 1940's made in an early USA Pottery mold. Lace ups through 4 eyelets on each side...Shown partially laced. Rounded toe with 'crushed leather' look at the front. USA incised in mold at the outside of the heel...impossible to show! Entire 'shoe' is done in a rose color~inside and out (also an indicator of age) with the exception of the unglazed bottom. Highlighted are the areas in relief and these show the white color of the original clay. Quite a nice addition to your collection. Measures 3-3/4" long x 1-3/4" wide x 2-1/4" tall.

BABY SHOE...Cheery decoration!!! ca 1930-40 Some chips on the inside of the shoe rim indicate that this little fellow has been around quite a while...the unglazed bottom and it's two bisected halves indicate the possibility of an American Bisque mold. I am only offering a ball park guess on origin of maker. All over decoration is that of a spray of sprigs in green and brown...mulberry colored flowers/buds, green accents for the leaves, and blue 'flower' accents with sienna sprigs. The method of decoration and color technique suggests an even earlier production time. The composition is light and fragile. There are some chips and a smaller indentation in the mold in the front of the shoe...the chips are followed by a hairline extended to the bottom 'lace'. There is another small hairline on the inside of the 'shoe' extending about the same distance. These are indicators of age, as well as accidents! The item has been priced to indicate it's condition.

Delightful 'BABY SHOE'...Pasadena Pottery!!! Only a portion of the original lable remains...showing the second word of the makers name as 'Cal', next line _e__es, and final, ___adena. Bears the earmark of Heidi Schoop, but I cannot say for sure... This little gem appears to have been made in the mid to late 1940's, in my estimation. The details in the mold (folds in the 'shoe', etc.) certainly point to that era. Lovely little 'bootie' with 'lacing' in and out around the 'top' of the boot. A bow tie done in rose and blue (Heidi Schoop liked this color palette) with a boquette of 'posies' in rose and blue, accented with yellow centers and dark rose and blue dots surround the 'eye'. Two shades of green make up the leaf and accents on the stems. this is a charming piece! Measures 3" tall x 4-1/16" long x 1-3/4" wide. This is the type that you must break to access the $$$. A long ago method, since replaced with rubber/plastic/vinyl plugs.

BURRO-49'ers FRIEND~Cast Metal VERY SPECIAL little guy. He stands 2-1/8 high x 2-1/4 long x 1-1/8 inches wide. The lovely patina of this cutie is, as far as I can judge, untampered with. The Burro was manufactured in 'JAPAN', SEE LETTERS IN PHOTO. I would judge it to have been made in the late 1940's when there was great interest in the centennial of the discovery of gold in California. This little guy sports all the gear you would need. With the head facing left detailed are a pan for gold panning, saddle bag, water/whiskey barrel and a gourd shapped item. On the right facing view one can find a bedroll, cooking pot, strongbox, and a pick/ax over the top. Along the top are other supplies, including a shovel and sledge hammer. This little friend is made of molded pot metal and plated with a copper colored bronze plating. Make it yours today!

FLUTED BLACK GLASS VASE...Ribbed Pattern Classic elegance with real STAYING POWER...This is a lovely, timeless black glass vase. Standing 9-3/8" tall x 3-5/8" diameter at the base and 3-3/4" wide at the top. This was a challenge to photograph...so, by necessity, I had to edit the photos (lighten them) to expose s all the detail. (Please note that the final photo was taken with the vase tilted up...yet another somewhat futile attempt at exposing the compliment the lovely ribbed pattern gives this piece.) Hold this beauty to the light and you see that beautiful amethyst color so well known in this glass. Black glass is the 'classic' misnomer...it is not really black, at all!!!

SAC 3 pc set...Grape Clusters & leaves! Sarah Coventry was made for the masses. However, they by necessity, were those who could afford modestly priced, well-made costume jewelry. No aspiring 1950's 'socialite' could be without at least a few pieces. Well made and designed, manufactured for the long term, SAC is still around today. Ahhhh, the 50's things were soooo well done then. Catch a finer view of this wonderful 3 piece set. The stylized leaves and grape clusters are done in plated silver with a white accent overlay. The leaves on the necklace feature a 'curled' edge not present in the earrings and bracelet. You will note, a sure sign of well made jewelry, that the earrings have perfectly matched opposing designs. Worn grape clusters in, or out, there is no way to confuse the right from the left. Necklace is an ample 16-1/2" maximum and could easily be worn as a choker. Bracelet measures a full 7-1/4" in length. Each of the leaves/clusters is roughly 1" square. Meant to last a lifetime, this set is still around 50 years after the fact...NOW THAT'S QUALITY!
