Coins here should be Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated coins taken from an original Brilliant Uncirculated bank roll but having distractions such as light blemishes or a few too many bag marks in key areas to preclude from grading higher than MS61/MS62. Overall eye appeal would be slightly below average to slightly above average, although just about all the coins that came from the roll we broke up do have much better than average strikes as evidenced by very nearly full to Full Bell Lines on the reverse. |

Coins here should be Choice Brilliant Uncirculated (MS63) to Gem Brilliant Uncirculated (MS65) coins taken from an original Brilliant Uncirculated bank roll having few distractions and above average to outstanding eye appeal. Just about all the coins that came from the roll we broke up do have much better than average strikes as evidenced by very nearly full to Full Bell Lines on the reverse. |

1971 Ike Dollar - UNC to BU *** Coins ***
Nice lustrous, tone-free UNC to BU coin from an original roll (since Ike Dollars were not included in US Mint Sets in 1971 & 1972). Ike Dollars from 1971-PD & 1972-PD are generally ugly coins littered with bag marks, hampered by weak strikes and subdued luster. We acquired a few original Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) rolls of each date. Keep in mind that Gem BU coins from these dates are virtually non-existent explaining why certified PCGS or NGC MS65 coins from any of these dates command prices into the hundreds of dollars each. So if you are looking for Gem BU coins, you are probably barking up the wrong tree buying our BU coins from any of the four dates of 1971, 1971-D, 1972 or 1972-D. |
