Abingdon Pottery Mantel Vases
For sale are two matched vintage Abingdon Pottery mantel vases. c:1941-1946. 2 cabinet/mantle vases for one price!. Gorgeous, unique Abingdon Pottery gilded vases with transferware figurines in the center. No chips or cracks; just some wear off the gold on the exterior part of handles. They stand 8 tall x 3.75 wide at top rim. Bottoms have USA in blue inkstamp in a rectangle, and incised number #535. These vases are shown in the book on pg. 101 in the solid color, not decorated. Great if you have traditional or Victorian style furnishings! Put them on each end of a mantle, vanity, breakfront, etc.! The book on Abi. pottery shows some decorated vases, but none have as much gold on them as this pair. |

Abingdon Pottery Dish Garden
For sale is a large vintage Abingdon Pottery dish garden. c:1934-1950. Bulb bowl/dish garden shown in the book; features transferware roses and gold trim. No chips or cracks; some wear off gold, and some minimal scratching near interior bottom, probably had a flower arrangement at one time. Blue inkstamp mark: Abingdon USA, incised mold no. #518. It is a great old vase, very heavy, and can be used for a variety of things, e.g., indoor bulbs, flower arrangements, pot pourri, centerpiece vase, etc. It is almost 11 across from rim to rim, or 12 inches from end to end x 2.5 tall. Not much Abingdon Pottery around either. |

For sale is a tall vintage Abingdon Pottery vase. c.1940-1946. 10 tall x 6.5 wide. It has the Abingdon USA blue inkstamp on the bottom and incised number #118. It has one flaw, a surface chip near bottom rim pic #4. Turn it the other way and you'll never notice it. Or, dab some matching paint over it. The pottery they sell at design centers is over $200 per item and has fake crazing and chips to make it look vintage. Go figure! The chip can be repaired at a pottery shop if you must have perfection. |

Abingdon Scalloped Low Vase
For sale is a lovely vintage Abingdon Pottery scalloped low vase. c.1942-1950. Very heavy matte dusty rose color. This style vase looks great with a vintage flower frog in it! Abingdon USA blue stamp on the bottom and an incised mark #564 on the bottom; shown on pg. 106 of the 1997 book by J. Paradis. This vase is 11 long x 2.75 high and in good condition, no chips or cracks, just some small faint smudgy marks on the interior. Most vintage matte pottery has these grey marks on them. This vase would look beautiful on a small table or breakfront as a centerpiece with silk flowers in it, or in a powder room with pretty soaps or pot pourri in it. |

china For sale is an Alfred Meakin lidded chamber pot. c:1914+. It is very pretty white w/raised harvest wheat pattern. It has the Alfred Meakin name with unicorn and wreath backstamp on the bottom. It has one very TINY glaze miss on the lid and one tiny fleabite off the bottom rim which does not permeate the visible portion of the pot nor does it affect stance. Five Vintage Aluminum Muffin Pans
For sale are five vintage aluminum muffin pans. 5 collectible vintage muffin pans. One is a 6 mini-muffin pan that says: Dixie Queen, The Big Value Aluminum, Made in USA; two 6-muffin pans that say: ECKO Ovenex, (these two are much older and are in the kitchen collectibles book); a 6-muffin pan that still has its label: Eckoloy, Silver Beauth USA; and one 6-muffin pan this is not marked. The only pans that look like they were used are the Ovenex ones. The other three are in good condition with minimal signs of usage. All are collectible items nowadays and you can stack them up sideways, or flat, they look good on the baker's rack or the hutch. (ECKO has been around since the 1900's; in 1929 it bought out A&J, and many products were thereafter marked, EKCO A&J, or just A&J, or EKCO); see the book titled: Kitchen Antiques, 1790-1940, by Kathryn McNerney, pg. 107. |

Vintage American Bisque Pig Bank
For sale is a vintage American Bisque pig bank. Very cute; big red bow and flower pattern. The pattern is shown towards back of book. This is the medium sized pig; it is 9.25 long x 5.5 tall. Has crazing and about 10% paint loss on cold painted areas. There is a 1 inch line near the slot; it is a firing crack line; edges of it are smooth, so it is not a hairline. This happens when clay is fired; sometimes it cracks a bit and is a factory flaw.
