Tobacco Tin
This well worn but decorative hand size printed tin has raised gold painted letters reading "Tortoise Smoking Mixture" on it's hinged lid. In the middle of the lid is a shield depicting a turtle. The background is a tortoise shell design. Fainty printed on the side it reads "Registered Trade Marks" and W.A.& A.C. There is a slight dent on the left side of the lid. There are signs of wear all over the box including some scratches on the lid. It measures length 4 5/8, width 3 1/4, height 7/8 inches. A handsome authentic addition to your collection. |

Vintage Hand carved wood Lambs
HAND CARVED LAMBS (or sheep?) These handsome very fine detailed antique animals are hand carved. They are lightly painted. There are four grown and two baby ones. Six pieces in all. Three of them have repairs on one of their thin legs. The large ones are about 3 inches (7cm) high and 4 inches (10 cm) long. Overseas surface postage $8.00 |

French Toy Telephone
Here’s and old fashioned French child size telephone. The phone is mounted on a wooden base and next to it is a dark gray solid metal bell to ring manually like one rings a bicycle bell. The telephone is brass (I think) coated. The gold color is partly worn away on the piece that you hold in your hand. The cord is of decoratively wound gray cotton. The handle between the speaker and the receiver is black wood. The telephone base and the disk you speak into are a bit loose but no problem to fix. The phone tips little to one side. The size of the wood base is 6 ½ x 4 ½ x 1 ¾ inches. ( 10 x 17 x 405 cm). Total height from base to top is 6 ½ inches (16 cm). The length of speaker-receiver is 6 ½ inches (16 cm). |

Vintage Tin Litho Zeppelin or Dirigible Toy
The body of this 1950’s tin litho airship toy is a light yellow color with four movable red rudders. On each side of the airship is printed "Zeppelin" in fancy black letters. Attached underneath are two orange and blue gondolas with a man and lady sitting in each one. The front section can be taken off and inside is printed HP in a triangle and the words "Military Police". A long catgut like string goes through a ring and a hole on the top of the Zeppelin. This toy can be hung and then raised and lowered by pulling on a ring (only half of the ring is left) at the bottom of the dirigible. The length is 10 ½ inches (26 ½ cm), the circumference is 9 inches (22cm).The gondolas are 2 ¼ inches (5 ½ cm) long. There are some brown spots on the underside but the general condition is quite good.

Art Nouveau Lizard Vase
A life size lizard is applied to this brown lacquered metal vase. On the base of the vase is incised “Bronce, Denmark”. I assume the word “bronce” means bronze and that it refers at least to the lizard. The nicely textured lizard is climbing the side of the vase with the end of it’s tail attached to the base. The height is 6 ¾ inches (17.5 cm), diameter at the top 5 7/8 inches (14.5 cm) diameter of base 2 ½ inches (11cm). The vase is in very good condition with a few scratches on one side. This is a handsome addition to any Art Nouveau “scene”.

Opaline Glass Ash Tray
This fine vintage ash tray is small and long. Perhaps it was meant for one person to stand and hold at an elegant cocktail party. In my opinion it is an Art Deco piece. The measurement are 4 inches (10.5cm) in length, 1 inch (2.7cm) wide and ¾ inches ( 1.5cm) high. It just fits in the palm of your hand. There are indentations at both ends and the base is beveled. Condition is perfect. A small but quality piece of Opaline to add to your collection. Overseas surface postage $5.00.

Murano Glass Bead Necklace
This vintage necklace is made of 15 colorful Murano glass beads graduated in size from 7/8 inches (2 cm) to ½ inch (1.3 cm). Its predominant color is bright blue with very interesting and unusual designs in the glass rod cross sections. These pieces are like sliced candy canes molded together. One sees small red stars, zebra stripes and pretty kaleidoscope motives. There are three little glass beads between each larger oval bead. The length of the necklace is 20 ½ inches (52 cm). This is a very old and interesting piece.

Long Ethnic Necklace with Heavy Brass Pendant
A large heavy brass pendant reminding one of a large arrowhead is held in place with 4 stands of round flat beads and 4 strands of tiny gold colored metal beads. The predominant colors of the beads are black, brown, green and gold. The strands of beads are held to the back of the pendant with a rubbery black substance.
The length of the chain with the pendant is 21 inches. The length of the pendant is 3 ½ inches (10 cm). I don’t know the origin of this vintage necklace, it could be African. This quite dramatic large piece works fashionably primitive and interesting to say the least. Overseas surface postage $8.00, airmail $16.00.

J3Z6 Vintage Cobalt Blue Murano Bead Necklace
This stunning long hand made necklace has 36 beautiful oval beads in graduating size. Each bead is in little sections containing a white 6 pointed star like flower. The spacers are small cobalt blue oval beads. These Venetian glass beads are strung on the original heavy cotton cord and you see the knot at the top. The length of this vintage piece is 14 ½ inches (37cm).The largest bead is 1&1/8 inches (2.8 cm) in length. This is a beautiful example of the Murano craftsmanship. Murano is an island belonging to Venice. One can still go there and visit its glass blowing artisans. The condition is very good. This dates from the 40’s or perhaps earlier.
This rich and brilliant piece of original old costume jewelry will be a dramatic addition to any wardrobe or collection. Overseas airmail postage $16.00, surface mail $9.00

Murano Blue Wedding Cake Bead Necklace
What a beautiful vintage Venetian lampwork wedding cake necklace this is. The blue colors are stunning. There are 15 Murano beads in graduating sizes. The largest center bead is 7/8 inches (2 cm) in diameter. Each of these beads has applied pink roses and blue forget-me-nots. The squiggles are gold and the bell caps are dark filigree. There are 10 round agate beads and the spacers are clear faceted glass beads. The original barrow clasp has been replaced. This lovely piece dates from the late 20’s. Overseas airmail postage $16.00.

Vintage Venetian Glass Fruit Necklace
This dainty necklace is made with clusters of little glass frosted oranges and lemons. The spacers are clear light green glass oval beads and each part is attached by hand with thin wire loops. Some of the wire has a light tarnish. It has its original barrel clasp. Four of the clusters have thin glass leaves attached. The length of the necklace is 18 inches (46 cm). It dates from the 1940’s or 50’s. The all over effect is very pretty and this neckpiece would be a lovely summery fashion addition. Overseas postage $8.00.

Vintage Wax Bridal Head Piece
This unusual wedding headpiece fits over head from ear to ear and frames the bride’s face. It does not sit flat on the head like a tiara. There is a wreath of 32 tiny white wax flowers trimmed with a wreath of fine white silk net covered "leaves".
The wax flowers symbolize myrtle which was sacred to the goddess of love, Aphrodite. From the Victorian times on the bride wore a garland of myrtle in her hair signifying her reputation was flawless. There is elastic that goes around the back of the head. The open length of the head band is 14 inches (35cm). The flowers and leaves stand up for 1inch (3 cm). The handsome matching Boutonniere was meant to be worn on the groom’s lapel but can also be used on the brides dress or other accessories. It is an organdy loop with wax flowers and bud and a bow. Vintage Brides Hair Band
This delicate wedding headpiece fits over head from ear to ear. It does not sit flat on the head like a tiara. It is made of hundreds of tiny dark green cloth leaves and little white cloth Myrtle flowers all attached by hand.The Myrtle was the popular and much used good luck wedding blossom of that time. The length of the headband is At the center at the top of the piece is a spray of white net covered rounds. The two ends are attached with a fine elastic to put under the hair. The length of the greenery is 14 inches (38cm). The height of the spray at the top is 2 ½ inches (6 cm). Shabby Chic Wax Flower Bridal Head Piece
This delicate all wax head piece is quite old. Turn of the Century I would guess. It is mostly made up of sprays of wax buds fixed on a flexible band which can be worn as a head band or a tiara. The band is bond by hand with a gold satin like thread. Every inch or so there is a remnant of a wax flower It fits framing the face with the two little fragile beige silk bows on each side. The length of the band is 14 inches (34cm). The height of the decor 1 ½ inches (3.5 cm). Some of the wax has turned a darker color. It is showing its age which would makes it a romantic addition to a shabby chic wedding ensemble as well as being a collector’s piece.

Vintage Fancy Net Bridal Headdress
This delicate wedding French headband fits over head from ear to ear. It does not sit flat on the head like a tiara. There are five fluffy silk net (French Tülle) flowers bound by hand with silver satin like thread. Each flower has a center of fine curly green cloth leaves. There is an elastic band which goes around the back of the head. It is made to fit any size head and the height of the largest center flower is 3 inches (7 cm). It is a natural white in color. In addition to the wedding crown there is a boutonniere of the same flower for the groom’s lapel. It is 3 inches (7 cm) in diameter. Vintage Bridal Tiara leafy green with pearls
This is such a lovely delicate wedding headdress. The wreath of green cloth leaves is studded with tiny pearl flower buds. At the front of the tiara are five arches of pearls and seven dainty myrtle blossoms. This is all hand made. The length of the decoration in the front is 12 inches (30 cm). The total length is 22 inches (58cm) making it adjustable to any size. The condition is excellent. I would date it in the 1930’s or before. It is probably Swiss. Vintage Four Piece Bridal Dress Garniture
There are the following four vintage pieces in this old box. A headdress, lace jabot, ladies white gloves and a man’s white bow tie. These were all found together as someone’s personal keepsake. It dates perhaps in the 30’s. The head band is hand made with a zig zag like design of white and silver satin cord. At each end is a little bouquet of wax flowers. The wreath is trimmed with pretty dainty cloth myrtle blossoms. The decorative jabot to be worn at the throat is a handsome machine made appliqué on net. It it’s length is 9 ½ inches (24cm) and at it’s widest point iin the middle it is 6 ½ inches (17cm) Included is a pair of used white gloves with a simple design on the back and a snap to close at the wrist. Then there is this tiny white bow tie for the groom. It is so small it hardly seems for real! The tie has lost it’s freshness. All of these items are a natural off white. This is a charming and romantic little treasure for the collector. However, the pretty crown and the jabot could still be worn today. Overseas surface postage $9.00, airmail $16.00

Collector’s Vintage Wax Bridal Tiara
This dramatic antique bridal collector’s head piece is from the turn of the century. It has aged to beige and brown tones but it has not lost it’s charm or historical value. There are 22 spears of wax buds and a wreath of yellowing cloth flowers with remaining bits of wax flowers. This tiara head band is in a suitable condition to be worn for a wedding if the theme is non-white vintage romantic. The height at middle of the front is 4 inches (11cm). The curved length is 12 ½ inches (31 cm) which will fit any head size.
This head piece is certainly a museum or collector’s piece. This lush tiara is one of the most elaborate and beautiful that I have ever found.

Vintage Beaded Leather Wedding shoes
These creamy soft natural white leather bridal slippers are the loveliest I have ever seen. They are lined with the finest glove leather and the inner soles are pink satin. There is a partly visible gold printed logo on the lining of one slipper that says "St. Moritz" so I assume they were made or bought in that fashionable Swiss resort. The top front of the shoe is decorated with cut out work surrounded by an Exquisite design made with the tiniest crystal like beads. A feature that certainly makes them a Haut-Couture fashion foot piece is a cord that runs around the inside of the top of the shoe and ties unseen in the front. This addition aids in having a perfect fit.
The slippers are a long and elegant 10 ½ inches (26.5 cm) in length and 2 ½ plus inches wide ( 7 + cm). The heel is 2 inches (5 cm). On the thin leather soles are small incised numbers 5 95 37 5. These collector’s slippers have been worn and their condition shows this but this certainly does not detract from their romantic charm. Overseas postage $18.00
