1940s Philco-Famous The World Over-Electric Wall Clock This is a vintage Philco advertising clock, circa late 1940s. The words below the PHILCO are "Famous For Quality The World Over". This clock measures about 16" diameter to the very outer edges. The clock face area is about 13" diameter and it has really good color for its age. The cover is a plastic and it does have some scratches, not bad. There are no cracks or chips. The clock face does have some wear which I'm not exactly sure how to describe. I'm not sure if this is a cardboard or a lithograph type part, but there are areas that have wear, kind of like when a plastic film is over something and in an area it bubbles up to separate. Its not bubbled, but I'm trying to describe the wear the best I can. In other words, its not mint, but in nice condition for its age. I plugged it in and it does run. It does have a place for light bulbs in the back, but none are there and there are instructions on the back as how to put light bulbs in. There are 2 clips that hold the plastic cover on the frame. The back side is mostly plastic, but the very back piece is metal and this is wear the label is that reads, "Caution use 25 watt lamps only -- To re-Lamp or re-set clock remove this cover -- Neon Products, Inc., Lima, Ohio". There are 2 "S" hooks present on the back as well, probably for additional support when hanging. The clock hands are a red metal, and the one has a moon shape to the one end.

1968 Dodge Good Guy Cowboy Hat This is a nice cross-collectible item which was shipped from the Dodge Truck Good Guy Headquarters in March of 1968 to the Oliver Body and Glass located at 120 S. Fillmore in Osceola, Iowa and is specifically marked for a gentleman by the name of Dale Stephenson.
This is a mint in the box, size 7, 100% wool, cowboy hat. The original hat label is still present and the graphics of the cowgirl on her horse when you look inside the hat is vibrant in color.
The original shipping box with original labels and original postage comes with this as an added plus!!
This has Compliments of Pattee Plow Company...The New Departure Line of Clutivators...Monmouth, IL on one side and the other side has a portrait of a Victorian woman.
This small item was for the wife to hold her sewing pins.
This measures about 2.5 inches by 1.5 inches and there are still many sewing pins all the way around.
A very nice history on this company can be found at /warren/patteplowcompany.htm
There are 2 full size cows and the advertising is the same on the back: De Laval Better Products For Better Farm Incomes and Better Farm Living and then lists the items they have along with addresses for their locations in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
The small calf reads: Sooner or Later you will use a DeLaval.
These items are in nice shape for their age. I believe the photos show the browning on the back where the advertising is. The color on the front is pretty close to mint. There are on the two larger cows slight 'bends' in the leg and tail area but they really are barely noticeable, but also like to mention as much about condition as possible.
The larger cows measure about 3 x 5 inches approximately and the small calf measures 2 x 2.5 inches approximately.
The dealer name on the pencil is Edward Schelm of Ute, Iowa.
This is in nice condition for its age, and the one picture should show what is left of the pencil itself -- definitely was used. Very little eraser left, but there is a small amount.

Greig Grain Company of Chandler, MN advertising bowl This bowl is made by the Federal Glass Company, vintage 1940-1950s. The Greig Grain Company of Chandler, Minnesota was the proprieter who advertised on this piece. It is marked with the "F" inside the shield. It stands about 3-1/2" tall x 7" diameter. It does appear to have been used some - but they did that back then! A nice collectible!
One is a celluloid pinback made by the St. Louis Button Company with the Official member logo for the Jack Robinson's Pony Club.
The other item is a plastic piece that is a cowboy and his horse with a straw-like plastic hose that I believe is actually some form of a squirter (his gun).
You be the judge. I can not find any research on Mr. Robinson or his Pony Club.
The button measures about 1.75 inches in diameter. The other piece measures about 8 inches in overall length.

Fuller Brush Salesman Brass door pull This is the Fuller Brush Salesman metal door hardware or something to that affect. It measures about 8" long and about 2-3/4" at its widest point. It is made of a metal -- possibly brass -- as it does have some of that blueish-greenish stuff on the inside of his hat and his feet (all on the backside). I don't find any maker marks and I'm not sure what its original use was, perhaps a door pull.

Details of the front label include: Liquid Granite .A., Six Highest Awards at the World's Columbian Exposition, Established 1858. The original brass cap over the nozzle is present! "For the mutual protection of Varnish Customers and ourselves, every can bearing our label has a brass cap fitted over the nozzle, stamped with our name. Our label and seal on a can guarantee the contents to be the best of its grade. See that the brass cap over the nozzle is intact." The last side label is 2/3 present, and it gives directions for use.

Charlotte Fung Miller 1981 Original Brush Painting This is an original Chinese Brush Painting done in 1981 by Charlotte Fung Miller, of Mukwonago, Wisconsin. I acquired this piece at an estate auction of a retired professor from Iowa State University a few years back. He must have traveled frequently, as his sale had several pieces from around the world.
This piece is protected in a folder with a see through window, and this is how I received it when I purchased it at the auction. There is a label on the bottom which reads, "Miller, Charlotte Fung, U.S. (1981) 110-44-141 Original Painting", and I assume the professor did this.
I did contact Charlotte Fung Miller a while back to authenticate this piece and she said that she did this piece in 1981.
The piece is done on rice paper and the artwork itself measures 7.5" x 11.5". The condition is very nice for its age. The piece is adhered to the 'folder' at the top corners only, which looks to be originally done that way, perhaps by the professor.

Divine Silhouette Compact Circa 1920 This is a circa 1920s Divine silhouette patterned compact, which is clearly marked on the right side, top half, and it is in a cursive writing with quotation marks around it.
The silhoutte pattern on the outside is that of a woman in a bonnet with an umbrella and the tip of the umbrella is touching what looks like might be a flower pot on a plant stand.
This is not mint -- it does have wear from use and its age. There is nothing on the inside, no puff, no mirror, no residue of blush, rouge or powder. The silhoutte is worn in the area of her hands and the handle of the umbrella. There is also 'waves' under her dress towards the bottom and these are worn. The flower border at the top is worn some as well. The surface of the metal has a brassy appearance with a nice patina but does show wear in places, mostly on the inside. The latch is present and will latch shut. The hinge is in good shape and works fine.
This measures about 1-5/8" x 1-1/8" x 3/8".
