EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass) is my passion. I study & collect EAPG. Sometimes an interesting Depression or foreign glass piece will catch my eye; some items in other materials such as silver, pewter, or pottery can appear here too...thus the "plus." The Victorian period is so fascinating, & in many ways mirrors our lives today.
I rotate pieces as I grow in knowledge or if I think you'd appreciate them more than me. And since this wonder of superheated sand (glass) continues to take over my “space,” I’ve always got some to offer: why not finish off your authentic decor with period glassware? Feel free to ask questions or inquire about wanted items which might not be listed.
Be sure to check back for new additions & an occasional “Rarest of the Rare” in EAPG. Some of these pieces have been documented, but are so uncommon that they’ve rarely or never been photographed for publication!
Everything is clean with meticulous descriptions of condition, & I package well. See ebay feedback for ger55.
Thanks,
Ger
PS: When I can pack multiple lots together safely, I will refund a portion of the postage if it comes out less than quoted. That is: ONLY if I can pack them together SAFELY.

Trolley car transferware shaving mug *NM Shaving mugs were individually designed for each customer of a barber. Some were imprinted with the customer’s initials or name; some showed his occupation. This contemporary mug (I believe it is not very old), which was obviously meant for a trolley car conductor, brings back the nostalgia of those days when trolley cars were commonplace. Measures 3 7/8 inches tall. Very nice condition: gold is near perfect; a superficial glaze crack is noted at the front. Wedgwood: Early Footed egg cup Peter Rabbit c 1953 This adorable child’s cream colored egg cup has Beatrix Potter’s "Benjamin Bunny" on one side, & "Tom Kitten" on the other. Under the base is printed: "Peter Rabbit Wedgwood." Condition is *Mint. The following information that I have on this piece came from the Wedgwood Museum: The Peter Rabbit (Beatrix Potter) series was begun in 1949. This particular eggcup is one of the earliest pieces, dating to about 1953 (best guess). Apparently it may have had a very limited production, since it is only rarely found. The Wedgwood Museum was unable to provide a photo of this piece! Even a large online replacement service has seen only one teapot! Height is 2 1/8" x 1 7/8" across the top. Hand blown 5 pieces in 3 shades of blue! I believe all of these are probably fairly contemporary, possibly semi-antique, with the oldest 60 years at the most…just my guess though, They are meant to copy the hand made glassware of the early 18th-19th century. All have folded edges, pontil marks, bubbles & impurities as seen on the early glass. The loveliest is a very pale blue bowl with a swirl pattern, out-folded upper edge, rough pontil; measures 6" wide x 2" high. "EA90" or "EA40" is scribed on the bottom. There are 3 darker azurine blue plates with out-folded rim, rough pontil; sizes vary from 8 1/8" to 8 ¼" diameter. Plates similar to these are seen in an ad for Mexican glass in the 1920’s. The 5th piece is an odd little bowl, deep blue, thick & crude. It has an in-folded rim, rough pontil, & measures 4 ¼" wide x 2 ¼" tall. All show some base wear except the delicate blue bowl. There is no damage. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority, with free Delivery Confirmation, 5 lbs. from 06068. #173

Hand blown 2 pieces in pale green & teal green First piece is a pale almost apple green with a hint of amber, vase, measuring 5 ¼" tall. It is nicely made with an in-folded upper rim which is gauffered into 3 lobes. There is a rough pontil which appears to have been fire polished; lots of tiny bubbles, some base wear; no damage. The 2nd might be a small whiskey taster (?) in a clear pale teal green. It has a simple rim with one small flea bite, a rough pontil; measures 1 7/8" tall x 2 ¼" wide at the top. Age on both is undetermined. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 2lbs. from 06068. #172

Futuristic sculpture: 4 tall glass sherberts cocktails champagnes Fill these with orange sherbert, plop a big red strawberry on top, & plant a sprig of mint on the side for a truly elegant summer dessert! Four modern stemmed glasses, perhaps martini cocktail or saucer champagnes; each looks like a piece of Scandinavian sculpture! I haven’t been able to identify or date these, but I suspect they are fairly contemporary. They are tall at 6 ½". This does not appear to be leaded glass, although the top looks blown; the base pressed. Perfect except for one small nick on the rim of one (see close-up). Hand made pitcher: Multicolored, Israeli OR Rueven (?) A mid-sized frosted pitcher with a streaky design of muted teal over magenta splotches. Has an applied handle, & glass is very thin & delicate. I’ve been told that this is either from Israel (in current production), OR Rueven, which apparently is quite collectible. I bought this because of the striking color pattern. Early glass style: Mini handmade pitcher; pontil; applied handle Adorable small clear pitcher in the style of early 19th or late 18th century glassmakers. SWEDEN bowl Kosta Boda Kjell Engman The "Sweden" Bowl was designed by Kjell Engman for Kosta Boda. This contemporary classic bowl has designs all around it depicting traditional Swedish scenes, separated by ornate scrolls. There are 4 scenes: a man with a goose, a moose near a lodgepole teepee, 2 couples dancing under a wreathed pole, and a tall bell tower. The glass is heavy (1/4" thick), pressed, lead-free crystal, and so unusual. No damage. 5 ½" wide. #103 Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority, with free Delivery Confirmation, 4 lbs. from 06068.

LG Wright: 2 Amber Salts: Daisy & Button Made by LG Wright (see LG Wright book pg 123 #805) during their life in the 20th century, this Daisy and Button pattern was originally made more than 100 years ago, and is still popular! The pair of salt & pepper shakers in amber measure 3 ¼" with the lid. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. One shaker has some interior graying & I was unable to remove the lid, which appears to be chromed. The other lid has a split on one side, but is functional. Coralene style mauve/white vase w beaded pale yellow coral design Attractive satin finish, mauvey pink & white over a white interior layer, this 6" tall vase gleams when the light hits the glass beads which form the figural coral sprays. Manufacturer ground top; no pontil mark. I suspect that this may be an older repro, but it is not my area of expertise. No chips or cracks; one small area where someone attempted gold paint (see photos); several areas where small amounts of beads are missing. A very unusual vase in pretty colors, which presents well overall. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 3 lbs. from 06068. #246

4 Skruf Kungsholm clear smoke w white foot ice tea goblets Super mint set of 4 iced tea or parfait (?) goblets by Swedish maker Skruf in the pattern shape of Kungsholm. Goblets are a faint gray clear leaded glass, with a white foot & short white 5-lobed stem. I believe this pattern was made as early as 1930’s, but this color combination suggests a later era, perhaps 1960-70’s? Measure 6 1/8" tall; 3 ½" across the top. No damage.
